How to Find the Right Headlight Lens: Chassis Codes, Years and Versions

Short answer: you need four things — brand, model or chassis code (e.g. Mercedes W213, BMW G30), model year and side. In Iran the left headlight is the driver side. Facelifts often change the lens, so the year matters.

1. Chassis code

Mercedes-Benz: C-Class W204, W205, W206; E-Class W211, W212, W213; S-Class W221, W222, W223.
BMW: 5 Series E60, F10, G30; 7 Series E65/E66, G11/G12; X5 E53, E70, F15.
Audi: A8 D3, D4.
Toyota, Lexus, Hyundai, Kia: usually by model and year range.

2. Year and facelift

Choose the product whose year range includes your car’s model year.

3. Headlight version

“High Version” means the higher-spec (usually LED or xenon) headlight; “Low Version” the basic one.

4. Side

Left = driver side, right = passenger side. Lenses are sold per side.
