Strong UV, summer heat (especially in the south), dust and air pollution destroy the factory UV coating, and the polycarbonate oxidises. Polishing only removes the top layer, so haze usually returns within months.

Remove the headlight, warm it to about 80°C in an oven or with a heat gun to soften the old sealant, remove the old lens, clean the channel and seal the new lens with the supplied glue. Any garage can do it.
